ABOUT

I have always been fascinated by God’s creations, as well as His sense of humor and generous display of beauty.  It made me want to capture what I saw, so I did so in the form of photographs.  My Mother and Grandmother were accomplished artists but it never occurred to me that I could perhaps follow in their footsteps.  My Grandmother began painting during the Depression when everything was in short supply.  She was very clever and, like many artists of the day, painted on cardboard.  My Mom had it a little easier and actually graduated to painting on canvas.

The ‘art bug’ bit me in March, 2015, with my first drawing being of 2 little white birds.  They ended up being a rather large Dove with an olive branch in its mouth.  The next painting was of Sunflowers and sold within a week!  I was on top of the world!  Since that time, I’ve dabbled in Epoxy Pours, Paper Quilling, embellishing antlers, Kintsugi, and love to paint anything in nature with watercolor, acrylic or oils.
